Do You trust Your Damp Survey?

Watch this video to see a rather direct opinion on the value of damp meters to test for dampness in buildings. We tend to agree with Peter Ward's opinion, although we would temper his comments to say that the damp meter is a useful tool when in experienced and trained hands. He is correct to point out they can be very misleading and shouldn't be wholly relied upon particularly when used to back up a damp survey that is suggesting you spend thousands on damp treatments.
